The Be Arthurs are an Edmonton based tiny instrument band consisting of Sheldon Elter, Ryan Parker, Bob Rasko and Chris Bullough.
They formed at the 2005 Edmonton International Fringe Festival soon after appearing at the Edmonton Street Performers Festival. They have played various live venues across North America, including the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. They opened for comedian Howie Mandel and are frequent musical guests on the CBC’s Irrelevant show, where they feature their original comedy songs.
Former Mayor Stephen Mandel dubbed them The Official Ukulele Cover Band of Edmonton and the Greater Capital Region and they wear that with pride…. they’ve currently heard nothing from present Mayor Don Iveson, but their okay with that, because he’s a pretty cool cat and they like him regardless.
Along with being musicians and friends, all four of The Be Arthurs are professional actors in theatre and film.
